- Széchenyi baths
- The Széchenyi baths are the biggest with the greatest variety of outdoor pools. These baths are in the city park and the simplest way to get there is to take metro line 1 from Vörösmarty tér to the stop outside the baths at Széchenyi fürdő.

- Rudas baths

- Slightly different are the Rudas baths. It's small, but has an old Turkish indoor pool and an indoor swimming pool and then a more modern rooftop outdoor pool. It's also unique in that it maintains the men-only/women-only separation on wekdays; Tuesday is women only. This separation only applies to the traditional Turkish style pool section with steam rooms and saunas; the other side is always mixed. These baths are just the other side of Erzsébet bridge, the big while one.
